Graham Middle School PTA has some exciting news! We've joined the eScrip Recycling Program. This program is FREE and provides convenient locations for collecting used inkjet, laser, and toner cartridges, and cell phones while raising funds for our school.
How the program works: a collection bin, clearly marked and accessible during normal school hours, is now in the Graham office. You can drop off your recyclable cell phones and cartridges whenever it's convenient for you. Periodically, our school will mail the items collected to the eScrip Recycling offices. eScrip Recycling will then deposit funds electronically in our group's account. Rates paid are very competitive: minimum of $1.60 for inkjets on list; up to $12.00 for certain cartridges and $ 14.00 for certain phones.
Please feel free to set up a collection bin at your place of work, as well, if acceptable. If you collect too many items for the bin in Graham office, just leave them in a container next to the bin and contact me.

Not only is this an easy way to raise funds, it also teaches our students valuable lessons about the variety of materials that can be recycled and it helps them develop life-long patterns.
Thank you for your help in recycling!
Sincerely,
Joyce Lau, scrip coordinator, 2007
