The two local public high schools are in the Mountain View Los Altos High School Distrrict. They are Mountain View High, on Truman Street in Mountain View, and Los Altos High, on Almond Avenue in Los Altos. Eighth-grade students generally receive registration and orientation information in the mail from the high school for the district they live in. Preview the summer and fall catalogs.
