What is ELAC?

The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a group of parents and teachers that work together for the English learners to meet the requirements to reclassify.

ELAC is a bridge in between the school, parents and teachers. The committee works with the school to provide information to the parents and gives a voice to our community to project questions or concerns and rely the message to our principal and school staff. As well as we are responsible for advise the principal on the necessities of our families or English learners.

Any parent can participate or be a member of the ELAC committee. Participate in discussions and workshops designed to help you identify the most effective way to support your student. ELAC's goal is student success.

El Comité Asesor de Estudiantes de Inglés (ELAC) es un grupo de padres y maestros que trabajan juntos para que los estudiantes de inglés cumplan con los requisitos para reclasificar.

ELAC es un puente entre la escuela, los padres y los maestros. El comité trabaja con la escuela para brindar información a los padres y da voz a nuestra comunidad para proyectar preguntas o inquietudes y transmitir el mensaje a nuestro director y personal escolar. Así como también somos responsables de asesorar al director sobre las necesidades de nuestras familias o estudiantes de inglés.

Cualquier padre puede participar o ser miembro del comité ELAC. Participe en debates y talleres diseñados para ayudarlo a identificar la forma más efectiva de apoyar a su estudiante. La meta de ELAC es el éxito estudiantil.
